Flat Bread Pizzas
We use Joseph flax flatbread, but any complex carb fiber and nutrient dense flatbread will do.
Basic Recipe:
-Joseph's flax flatbread
- pizza sauce
- mozzarella
- sauteed onions, red peppers, green peppers, and mushrooms.
Optional:
pepperoni or turkey pepperoni
fresh basil
dried oregano
grated fresh parmesean
Steps:
Spread sauce on the flatbread and bake at 350 Degrees for 15 minutes or until as crispy as you like, this also keeps the sauce from being too watery and the pizza too mushy.
saute the vegetables.
Take the prebaked flatbread and add cheese and toppings then bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
